INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE ASKING FOR PATIENCE AS INVESTIGATION INTO FATAL CRASH CONTINUES

Indiana Borough Police are asking the public for patience as the investigation continues into a fatal accident on March 11^th.

A delivery truck hit two people as they were in the crosswalk at the intersection of 9^th and Philadelphia Streets in Indiana Borough.  John Reeger was pronounced dead at IRMC the same day, while his wife Loretta died as a result of her injuries eleven days later at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  State police and the Indiana County District Attorney’s Office are assisting in the investigation.

A statement from Indiana Borough Police says “an incident of this significance requires a thorough and cooperative investigative approach..”
