Evgeni Malkin missed his third straight game with an undisclosed upper body injury. He has been practicing in a white, non-contact jersey. Forward Boko Imama is out for the rest of the season after having surgery on his right bicep. His recovery time is estimated at four to six months.
The Pens have three days off before a three-game road trip, Thursday in St. Louis, Saturday in Dallas, and Sunday in Chicago.
