A Buffington Township man was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court in connection with an incident last November.
25-year-old Mark Anthony McCloskey was ordered to serve one year of probation each for evading arrest and disorderly conduct. On November 21st, police were called out to serve a PFA order against him. Immediately after he was served the order, he fled back into the place he was being evicted from. When he came back out, he became aggressive with deputies, who eventually used tasers to subdue him.
The probation sentences will run concurrently.
Also sentenced yesterday was 28-year-old Lori Murdock for four cases filed against her. In a case of retail theft, she was ordered to serve two months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and three years of probation upon release. For two cases concerning charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, she was ordered to serve six months of probation for each count. For one count of possession of a controlled substance, she was ordered to serve one month to a day less than two years in jail. The jail terms will run concurrently, as will the probation.
