Richard “Bo” J. Bogdanski, 66, of Indiana, PA passed away at home on Friday, April 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
The son of Lester and Dorothy (McDonald) Bogdanski, he was born on May 24, 1958 in Indiana, PA.
A graduate of Blairsville High School, Bo furthered his education with an Associates Degree from Williamsport Community College in heavy equipment mechanics.
On August 18, 1984, he wed Cheryl L. Coble-Bogdanski and they have shared over forty and a half years of marriage.
For forty-three years, Bo was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with Cleveland Brothers in Indiana, PA.
Bo enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. An avid golfer, Bo had memberships over the years with the Indiana VFW Golf Course and more recently, the Chestnut Ridge Golf Course. From the Fall through the Spring, he enjoyed participating in the bowling league at the Elks in Indiana, PA
A man who enjoyed socializing and conversing with friends, he retained memberships in the following associations: the Elks; the Eagles and the MOOSE organizations in Indiana, PA; the Red Barn Sportsmen’s Club; the C & Y Sportsmen’s Club in Young Township and the Graceton Coral Sportsmen’s Club in Graceton, PA.
Bo was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. His innate talent for creating witty and humorous phrases and sayings will be fondly remembered.
He thoroughly loved spending time and making memories with his wife, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
Bo is survived by his wife, Cheryl Coble-Bogdanski of Indiana, PA; daughter, Brittany Cara Aliveto and husband, John and granddaughter, Alessandra Aliveto, all of Canonsburg, PA; his sister, Darlene Bogdanski and fiancé, Steve Kelly of Indiana, PA and his wife’s aunt, Joyce A. Coble of Indiana, PA, who was a special member of his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Marcyjanik.
Bo’s wife and daughter extend their gratitude and appreciation to Bo’s favorite nurse from VNA Nursing, Kali, for all of her exceptional care and kindness.
In respect to Bo’s wishes, there will not be a visitation or service. A private inurnment will take place at Uniontown Cemetery, Green Township, Indiana Co., PA.
