First responders were called out to two vehicle accidents within a minute of each other on Monday.
The first crash was reported at 1:14 PM on Route 422 West in Armstrong Township in the construction zone of the West Pike Overpass. No entrapment or injuries were reported in the one-vehicle crash. Indiana Fire Association, Citizens Ambulance and State Police were dispatched to the scene.
One minute later, Indiana County 911 reported an accident on Route 403 North in Buffington Township. Brush Valley and Vintondale fire departments, Black Lick EMS and state troopers responded to that incident. Officials reported a garbage truck got into a soft area on the edge of the road of Route 403 near Dilltown, causing the truck to overturn and land on its side. No garbage spilled out and no injuries were reported.
