A missing Northern Cambria-area man has been found safe. (Read the original story)

Larry Stephen Bursky, 49, who had been reported missing to the Pennsylvania State Police, was located earlier today and found to be safe.

The spring has been a difficult one for first responders, with fatal accidents, wildfires, and the storms and resultant power outages.  What are the biggest challenges facing volunteer fire companies?
