Renda Media’s Teddy Bear Fund Drive made its donation yesterday to Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The donation to the IRMC foundation comes to $72,000, an increase from last year. The presentation was made yesterday in the Adolescent Wing of the new IRMC Mountains Behavioral Healthcare facility on the hospital’s main campus. Money raised from the Teddy Bear Fund Drive goes to child health care at IRMC and the Free Care Fund of Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, with over 70% of the money staying in Indiana County.
Heather Reed with the IRMC foundation said it’s great to see how the fund drive has become a community tradition.
