The Indiana Area, Marion Center, and Purchase Line school boards are all scheduled to meet on Monday night.
Indiana’s board meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Academic & Extracurricular Affairs Committee. The full board has an extensive agenda, including the hiring of a full-time athletic trainer, an update on the nearly-complete Eisenhower Elementary project, the ICTC budget, agreements for services with the Indiana Borough Police and State Police, and the donations of weight room equipment and backstops for the softball and baseball fields.
At their combined work and voting session, Marion Center’s board will vote on an agreement with Bramlet Enterprises for security services, a Master Agreement with HHSDR for the replacement of a retaining wall, the stairs to the fieldhouse, and handicap access to the McCreery elementary playground, the ICTC budget, and the reappointment of Adam Rising as football coach, Greg Pack as volleyball coach, and Chris Peters as cross country coach.
Purchase Line’s school board will continue its work on a long list of new and revised district policies, agreements with Mount Aloysius College and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, the ICTC budget, and a security agreement with Guardian Protection Group.
