On ESPN’s Pat McAfee Show yesterday, Aaron Rodgers denied that he is “holding anyone hostage” looking for the sweetest deal, and said he is dealing with “a lot off the field” right now. He said the “people that need to know, know what’s going on,” but did not say whether those people included the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers and the rest of the NFL are awaiting a decision from Rodgers as to where or if he will play football next season, with the NFL Draft less than a week away.
Rodgers did say he has been keeping in touch with Mike Tomlin since meeting with the Steelers in Pittsburgh on March 21st, and Tomlin is “more than (he) even thought from afar as far as the type of person that he is.”
