Hunter Barco turned in another spectacular performance last night and still has not been scored upon this season. The Curve beat Chesapeake 2-0. Barco went four-and-two-thirds innings, giving up two hits and two walks and striking out eight. He’s thrown 17-and-two-thirds innings of shutout baseball to start the season, one inning shy of Roansy Contreras’ team record.
Valentin Linarez, Wilken Ramos, and Cam Sanders finished up on the mound for the Curve and Termarr Johnson hit his second home run of the season. Mitch Jebb had two hits.
