Wednesday night, the White Township Supervisors approved the new Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.
The new version of the SALDO contained no major changes to it, but did update the language to bring it in line with the current Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code. Summer Schmiller, a planner with HRG who helped craft the ordinance, talked about its importance.
Audio PlayerApproval of the ordinance means the old one is completely repealed and the new one is formally put in place. Along with the updated definitions, it includes additional design standards, and an appendix with construction standard drawings.
