The Indiana County Commissioners approved a loan from their Rotating Loan Fund for a business that announced they would set up shop in Indiana Borough very soon.
The $250,000 loan was approved for Gordon Sinclair, a company that makes promotional products like cups, tote bags, and other items for companies of all sizes. It was announced on Friday that the company would open a facility at 771 Indian Springs Road in White Township, and the company would create 50 new jobs for the county. The loan would be put towards the purchase of equipment for the new factory. Officials from Gordon Sinclair said they have received an amazing response to the news of the jobs coming in to the county as they received over 1000 applications since the news broke on the company.
Gordon Sinclair, Inc. will be up and running in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2017.
