Indiana Borough Council approved two motions regarding Community Development Block Grant funds at their meeting Tuesday night.
One motion authorized the signing of a cooperation agreement with Indiana County to submit the applications and administrate the 2024 CDBG Program “on behalf of” Indiana Borough. The other authorized the signing of a project scope and three-year plan for the CDBG application.
Indiana Borough is requesting $202,202 in CDBG funding and Borough Manager Nichole Sipos detailed one major project the money would be used for.
In other business, borough council approved a special event permit for the “Save a Life” Event, hosted by the Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission. It will be held in IRMC Park on September 26th from 1-4 p.m.
