Francis M. Blystone 83 of Clymer, PA., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 after a long battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
He was born on March 26, 1941 to the late Earl Sr. and Mildred (Henderson) Blystone.
Francis retired from Greensteel of Dixonville, PA., prior to that he worked at Musser Nursery and spent most of his life working in the steel mills.
He was a loving father to Kimberly Parsons of Ohio, Karen (Bill) of Clymer, Nancy (Travis Whitney) Blystone of Strongstown, Ken Blystone of Marion Center, Patty (Tom) Long of Clymer, Brenda (Walt) Hill of Homer City, Daughter-in-law, Loretta Blystone of Homer City, grandchildren, Tiffany, Francis B, Amy, Chris B., Devon, Michael, George, Dan, Brandon, Alyssa, Tabitha, Matthew, Francis L., Kyle, Annaleana, Leesa, Tommy, Josh, Cody and Karissa, several great-grandchildren, sisters, Brenda (Daryl) Cribbs, Stella (Larry) Bussard and Norma Stewart.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, Helen (Peace) Blystone, sons, Francis, Jon, and Thomas Blystone, grandson, Christopher Hill and Kenny Blystone, brother Earl Blystone Jr., sisters, Betty McManus, Doris Eileen Painter, Sylvia Burkett, three infant sisters, Carol, Irene and Rita Blystone.
The family would like to thank Scenery Hill employees for the great care they provided.
Friends will be received on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer, from 9 am to 11 am with his funeral home service following at 11 am with Pastor Tom Pugh, officiant. Interment will be made in Sample Run Cemetery, Clymer.
