A status conference is scheduled for a Homer City man charged with vehicular homicide while driving under the influence.
Court Documents show 24-year-old Reed Tantlinger is also charged with accident where the victim dies, two counts of DUI-controlled substance, along with seven summary traffic counts in connection with an incident on January 7th, 2023 that killed 25-year-old Hunter McCloskey. The crash happened in the westbound lane of Route 422 in Pine Township as Tantlinger rear-ended McCloskey’s vehicle, pushing him into several boulders and a utility pole along the side of the road. Tantlinger was later found at a relative’s house.
After today’s hearing, he will be due for Criminal Call on November 1st.
