The Marion Center School board is scheduled to hold its voting meeting tonight, and a few projects concerning parking lots and camera lines are on the agenda.
The board will look to approve a contract with Shadco to excavate and pave the parking lot at Rayne Elementary School at a cost of $9970. A second contract up from approval from Shadco will deal with a project to bore a tunnel from the McCreary Elementary School to the Flagpole for installation of conduits for external cameras. That project would cost $7800.
The board will also take a first look at several policies that will be either added or edited, including bullying and cyberbullying, public records, opening exercises like the flag salute and a moment of silence, and maintaining professional boundaries between adults and students.
The meeting starts at 7:30 in the McCreery LGI room.
