TERRORISTIC THREATS
State police have charged a Saltsburg man with terroristic threats following an incident Thursday morning in Young Township.
Troopers were summoned to a verbal argument at 395 Violet Street shortly after midnight which escalated after 30-year-old Michael Wilson allegedly grabbed a knife and told a 30-year-old Saltsburg woman that he should stab her. Wilson fled the scene but was later taken to Indiana County Jail. Charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and disorderly conduct were filed through District Judge Robert Bell Sr.’s office.
THEFT
State police are investigating a theft that occurred earlier this month in Clymer Borough.
Troopers say from October 15 to 23, 77-year-old Gail Crigger of Clymer was scammed out of $160 after a Google Chat account claimed to be Publishers Clearing House. An investigation is ongoing.
