Pennsylvania-American Water crews braved the cold conditions last night to repair a broken water line in Indiana Borough Sunday night.
The water line break was reported at the intersection of Oakland and School Streets at 6:00 PM. Crews were on the scene for seven hours to affect repairs to the line. Ten PA-American Water customers were affected by the service interruption.
While the exact reason for the water line’s break has not been released, officials said that the water line itself was over 80 years old.
