Tuesday night, the United School Board approved a proposal for a survey and presentation concerning screen time use and mental health.
The BD3: Driven by Digital Decency program will be presented to the students, faculty and parent teachers group in January. According to District Superintendent Dr. Richard Lucas, the program is meant to help reduce screen time, increase mental health and reduce negative usage and related online conflicts.
The survey will be sent out to students in the early part of 2025.
In other business, the board will hold a reorganization meeting December 3rd at 6:30 PM, with the work session to follow.
