DROP BOX SET UP AT RENDA MEDIA TO HELP RETIRE AMERICAN FLAGS

A collection effort is underway to honorably retire American Flags that are faded, tattered and torn.

Renda Media is teaming up with Homer City American Legion post 493 in Homer City to collect American Flags that are no longer in shape for flight.  If you have an American flag that is old, worn out or in need of replacement, bring it to the Renda Media offices at the corner of 9^th and Philadelphia Streets and place it in the drop box.  The flag will be delivered to the American Legion post, where it will be given a dignified retirement during ceremonies held by the Legion.
