A man from Buffington Township was taken into custody yesterday for a Protection From Abuse order violation.
Indiana County Sheriff’s Deputies were summoned on November 21st at 2:00 PM to serve the PFA order on 24-year-old Mark Anthony McCloskey. Immediately after being served the order, he went back inside the place he was being evicted from. When he came back out, he became aggressive with deputies by putting up his hands and saying “then come on, let’s go”. At that time, deputies used tasers to subdue McCloskey and he was taken into custody without further incident.
Deputies charged McCloskey was charged with contempt of the PFA order, evading arrest or detention on foot, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed before District Judge Robert Bell. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
