A Homer City man has been charged with corruption of a minor during the time that he was a school bus driver for Tri-County Transportation.
William Samuel Cassatt Jr., 30, allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year female student of the United School District.
Cassatt drove the bus that the girl rode to school every day and officials say that is where the relationship began. According to police, they exchanged cell phone numbers on the bus, then developed a relationship that lasted from May to July 2016.
Cassatt is charged with 34 counts of corruption of a minor, the number of times that he allegedly either sexually touched or messaged the teenager.
Cassatt, who is no longer with the transportation company, is not in jail at this time.
