State police have released more details regarding a crash Friday morning in White Township that left one person injured.
Troopers say they were summoned to a one-vehicle crash near the area near Route 119 and 286 East in White Township around 10:37 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Isabella Ruth of Brockway had hit an icy patch in the roadway, causing her vehicle to strike a concrete barrier before coming to rest in the eastbound lane. Ruth suffered a suspected minor injury and was evaluated on-scene by Citizens’ Ambulance personnel before being taken to IRMC for treatment.
Her car sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. No damage was done to the barrier or surrounding properties, but there was debris on the roadway.
