One person was injured in a DUI crash in Cherryhill Township earlier this month. State Police are now reporting on a one-vehicle crash on Chestnut Ridge Road that happened at 11:09 PM on January 2nd. 28-year-old Cody Flora of Ebensburg was going East on Chestnut Ridge Road in Cherryhill Township when he failed to stop at a dead-end. The car hit a large pile of gravel head on, and the car went airborne. The car rolled over and spun out, hitting a construction barrier behind the gravel pile and landed on the driver’s side roof, causing the car to roll further before coming to rest off the roadway facing east. Flora was taken to Conemaugh Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries, and he was cited by state police for DUI.
State police report of an investigation into some criminal mischief in the Mary Ann Hill Road area of White Township. On Wednesday at 3:59 PM, state police received a call from Vickie Shumaker, and it is believed that an unknown person or persons smashed the rear door of her home, damaging the glass.
A Creekside man was charged with harassment in an incident that took place last night. State Police were called around 6:00 PM to a home on Donahue Road in Washington Township. State Police say that Tina Murdick and Michael Hursey were involved in a physical altercation when Murdick was pushed. The fight was over a fryer being plugged in for dinner. Charges were filed against Hursey at district court.
