Alexander G. Lazor, “Helper of Humanity” 92 of Indiana, PA., passed away at his home on January 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of Nicholas and Mary (Mizerak) Lazor Sr., born April 10, 1932, in Lucerne Mines, PA.
Alex spent his life building homes in the construction business. But his biggest strength was his love of God and family. Alex lived his life to the fullest at the age of 92. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered as a devoted spouse of 71 years, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great great-grandfather. It was hard to say goodbye to someone we loved so much.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Florence J. (Myers), one daughter, Beth Ann Miller and husband Lee of Marion Center, two brothers, Bernard Lazor and Vincent Lazor and wife Clara, four grandchildren, Alesha Daugherty (Jeremy), Ashley Treese (Brian), Nicole and Brian Lockmer, Taryn and Chris Sabbia, seven, great-grandchildren, Morgan Daugherty, fiancée, Austin Martin, Kallon Daugherty, Cortlynn Treese, Raelynn Treese, Maria Ann Woods, Aubrey Sabbia and Ava Sabbia, great great-granddaughter, Avery Martin and soon to be great great-grandson.
Alex was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Mark Lazor in 2021, five brothers, Nick Jr, Andrew, Edward, William, and John Lazor, five sisters, Martha Lazor, Margaret Lazor, Dorothy Morrow, Mary Ann Becker, Frances Rado.
May he rest in God’s loving care. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
As per Alex’s request all services will be private for the family. The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer is assisting the Lazor family.
