The Indiana School Board Monday night voted 5-4 to name Mark Zilinskas as the new head football coach.
This marks the second tenure as the head coach of Indiana High Football, but Julia Trimarchi-Cuccaro, who attended virtually, said that she felt that Zlinskas’ nomination was a foregone conclusion and that wasn’t fair to any of the other applicants.
Board president Walter Schroth shared Julia’s sentiment but would not offer any further comment on the matter, saying it was a personnel matter.
The board also approved close to $200,000 in change orders for the Eisenhower project, and granted tenure to East Pike Special Education Teacher Helena Dadson
