Pitt dropped its third straight game, 82-70 to Florida State, turning the ball over 17 times and shooting only 37.5 percent. Fourteen of those turnovers came in a dismal first half. The Panthers also gave up a whopping 33 foul shots, 28 of which Florida State made.
Jaland Lowe led Pitt with 22 points but had only 2 in the first twenty minutes and finished with eight turnovers. Jorge Diaz Graham came off the bench to score 17 and Ish Leggett had 13.
Pitt is back on the floor at the Petersen Events Center on Saturday against Clemson.
