State police are asking the public to help them identify a suspect in a recent theft at the Walmart on Oakland Avenue in White Township.

Troopers say the theft happened on February 8th at 5:49 PM as an unidentified man tried to leave the store without paying for $710.21 worth of merchandise, including two televisions and miscellaneous hardware. He was stopped by store personnel near an entrance and fled in a two-tone green and white 2005-2007 Ford Escape SUV.
The suspect is described by police as a white male, about 35-40 years of age, with slender build between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 1 inch tall.
