Sandra Ann (Hughes) Dye, 67, of Glen Campbell, PA passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Beacon Ridge in Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Roy A. and Anna V. (Warych) Hughes, she was born on February 23, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Sandy was a member of the Gipsy Christian Church, where she was a church organist and Loyal Berean Class Secretary. She had also attended the Arcadia Presbyterian Church.
A very ceramic artist, she was also talented at painting, drawing and growing flowers. Sandra had a love of animals, especially her pet dogs, Betty Boop and Winston. One of her favorite pastimes was feeding wild birds.
Sandy will be sadly missed by her longtime friends: Sara Woodley of Cherry Tree, PA; Joline Fleming of Rossiter, PA and Betty Smith of Gipsy, PA and all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her infant children: Heidi Marie Pilarski; Stephen Alexander Pilarski and Kerrick Austin Dye; her favorite cousin: Margaret Skrzydlewski and her longtime companion: Walter Bartlebaugh.
Per Sandy’s wishes there will not be a visitation. Friends are invited to a 2:00 p.m. graveside service on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA, where Larry Nichol will be speaking..
