In response to anticipated snow, sleet, and freezing rain overnight Wed., 2/5 into Thurs., 2/6, PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike are planning to implement a variety of commercial vehicle restrictions.
Beginning 2/5 at 7:00 PM:
Tier 4 restrictions
• I-70 ([76 – MD line]
• I-79 [76 – End]
• I-81 [MD line – I-80]
• I-83 [Full length]
• I-99 [Full length]
• I-283 [Full length]
• I-376 [Toll 76 – I-80]
• US 22 [US-119 – I-99]
• US 22/US 322 [I-81 – I-99]
Tier 2 restrictions
• PA Turnpike I-70/76 [New Stanton – Carlisle]
Beginning 2/5 at 11:00 PM:
Tier 4 restrictions
• I-80 [MM 4 – I-81]
• I-180 [Full length]
Beginning 2/6 at 12:01 AM:
Tier 4 restrictions
• I-78 [Full length]
• I-81 [I-80 – NY line] will complete all of I-81
• I-80 [I-81 – NJ line] will complete all of I-80
• I-84 [Full length]
• I-380 [Full length]
• US-33 [Full length]
Tier 2 restrictions
