Another Indiana County Attorney has announced his candidacy for the open judge’s seat in the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas.
Tony Sottile announced his candidacy in a media release today. He is currently part of the lawfirm of Barbour, Sottile, and Darr, and before then he was with the lawfirm of Marcus, Olson and Mack. He graduated from IUP with a degree in Political Science in 1987 and studied law at the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, where he graduated in 1990. Sottile’s experience has covered many different areas of the law, and he was recognized by the Pennsylvania Bar Association as a lawyer who is “Making a Difference” for his work as co-chair for the Indiana Bar Association’s Pro Bono committee.
Sottile is running for the vacancy in the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas that came with the retirement of Judge Carol Hanna in June of 2016.
