The Penguins made some moves yesterday as they prepared for tonight’s face-off against the Avalanche in Denver.
Goaltender Tristan Jarry was called up from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and fellow goalie Joel Blomqvist was sent down. The Pens also placed defenseman P.O. Joseph on injured reserve for an undisclosed reason with no corresponding roster move.
The Pens also announced the signing of 20-year-old defenseman Finn Harding to a three-year entry level contract that will take effect at the start of next season. The seventh-round choice in last year’s draft is playing with Brampton in the Ontario Hockey league this year.
Faceoff tonight is scheduled for 9 PM. We’re on the air on 92.5 FM U92 at 8.
