The Penguins take a modest two-game winning streak into tonight’s game against the St. Louis Blues, and they’ve done it while assimilating a number of newly-acquired players into the lineup, notably Connor Dewar, Conor Timins, Vladislav Kolyachonok, and Tommy Novak.
Coach Mike Sullivan says making the new guys comfortable in the lineup while maintaining a competitive team is a challenge he’s up for.
Sullivan likes the youth and attitude he’s seen so far from the new Penguins.
Novak remained off the ice yesterday with a lower body injury. Defenseman Ryan Shea, who is termed “week-to-week” with an upper body injury, skated before practice.
Pens/Blues happens tonight on 92.5 FM U92, with the pregame beginning at 6 o’clock.
