An Indiana man has been ordered to serve 70 months in prison and four years of probation on federal drug charges.
The sentence against 46-year-old Barry Baker was handed down late last week by U.S. District Judge Marilyn Horan. Acting U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti announced that between December of 2021 and March of 2023, Baker conspired with others to distribute cocaine, crack and fentanyl. He was intercepted on a federal wiretap obtaining quantities of drugs that he distributed to other members of the organization in the Johnstown area.
The prosecution is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force investigation. The group identifies, disrupts and dismantles the highest-level drug traffickers, money launderers, gangs and other criminal organizations.
