INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police arrested an Indiana man on drug possession charges. This also happened on February 3rd, at 1:13 PM. Indiana Borough Police say 43-year-old William Meagher was found by police in the 400 block of North Fourth Street with marijuana on his person. Along with a charge of possession of marijuana, Meagher also faces a summary traffic offense.

One person was injured in a crash on Route 56 in East Wheatfield Township. State Police say the crash happened around 4:45 PM on Friday just North of Trindle Road. 19-year-old Dakota Houston of Dilltown was driving north on 56, but did not notice that 45-year-old Sarah Eckert of Bethel Park had slowed down in front of her for an oncoming school bus letting children off and rear-ended Eckert’s vehicle. Eckert was taken to Conemaugh Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Houston was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device warning of hazardous conditions.
PSP-GREENSBURG
State Police out of Greensburg have charged a Derry man with drug possession. Police say on February 1st at 10:07 PM, they found 23-year-old Jacob Kirkpatrick in possession of a prescription pill and a small amount of marijuana. Charges were filed through district court.
