Senator Don White and Representative Dave Reed yesterday announced more state grants for Indiana County emergency responders, expanding a list released earlier by Representative Chris Dush.
The grants administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner include $7,844 for Citizens Ambulance Service.

- Aultman Volunteer Fire Association, $11,844.
- Brush Valley Township Volunteer Fire Company, $11,844.
- Cherry Tree Volunteer Fire Company, $12,101.
- Cherryhill Township Volunteer Fire Company, $13,903.
- Citizens Ambulance Service Inc., $7,844.
- Clyde Volunteer Fire Department, $11,844.
- Clymer Volunteer Fire Department No. 1, $13,388.
- Coal Run/McIntyre Fire Department, $14,160.
- Commodore Volunteer Fire Department, $11,844.
- Coral Graceton Volunteer Fire Company, $12,101.
- Creekside Volunteer Fire Company, $11,368.
- Homer City Volunteer Fire Company, $12,359.
- Indiana Fire Department, $15,000.
- Iselin Volunteer Fire Company, $11,844.
- Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department, $11,844.
- Plumville District Volunteer Fire Department Inc., $13,131.

In all, 21 Indiana County emergency response organizations received more than $261,000 in state grants. The funds are generated by the proceeds from slot machine gambling.
