ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP
A Creekside man has been arrested for stealing two handguns from the home of his girlfriend last month. State police say Cory Webb was allowed to spend the night of January 28th at the home of Patrick Carnahan of Azalea Lane in Armstrong Township, but sometime in the night he stole a .38-Special revolver and a .22-caliber Heritage revolver. The .22 was recovered at a home on Walnut Street in Indiana, where Webb was found on a search warrant served by Indiana Borough police and other agencies. State police don’t say if there was another crime involved or if they were there specifically for Webb.
Webb was taken into custody and placed in the Indiana County Jail to await arraignment .
BLACKLICK TOWNSHIP
State police say a Tara Danielle Fleming of Kent is facing theft charges for lifting a Homer City woman’s coat and purse from the Rail House Bar & Grill, along Route 286 in Blacklick Township on January 19th. The purse had an iPhone in it, along with sixty dollars cash. Police don’t say whether or not Fleming is in custody.
