No matter where you are in Indiana County, you’re near someplace special, and the Indiana County Tourist Bureau wants to see it.
The Tourist Bureau is conducting an online photo contest to “capture what…represents tourism in this beautiful, scenic county where we live, work, and play,” according to Executive Director Denise Liggett.
Shutterbugs may submit photos in several categories, including attractions; arts, culture & history; events (such as fairs and festivals); outdoor activities; architecture; scenic landscapes; and shopping and dining.
Winners will receive a gift certificate or promotional item from the tourist bureau or one of its members.
The year-long contest begins March 1st and continues through February 28th of next year. All photos must be in good taste and taken within Indiana County’s borders. To see the contest rules and submit your photos, go to VisitIndianaCountyPA.org.
