State police are investigating a couple of thefts, one of which involves a stolen handgun, and the other, stolen prescription pills.
A Green Township man reported the theft of a .45-caliber handgun from his vehicle over the weekend. Sometime between one o’clock Saturday afternoon and eight o’clock yesterday morning, the gun was stolen from the vehicle’s center console. It’s a black “Para Ordinance” model. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of the victim’s home along Route 580.
Police say a Clarksburg woman reported the theft of 28 Percoset pills from her purse. The theft was discovered Saturday morning, but the woman could not say when the pills were taken or where she would have been at that time.
