Fire crews had a busy day on Friday with three vehicle accidents along with two other incidents.
The first vehicle accident was reported at 2:33 PM on Saltsburg Road in Conemaugh Township. State police were dispatched along with the Tunnelton and Saltsburg Fire Departments and Lifestat EMS. The second accident was reported just over an hour later on Power Plant Road in West Wheatfield Township. Armagh and Clyde Fire Crews were dispatched for the crash. Finally at 9:43 PM, Creekside Fire Department and State Police were called out for a crash on Fulton Run Road in White Township. State police have not yet released any reports on those incidents.
Clymer fire department was also called out last night at 8:28 to assist on a medical call on Bethel Church Road in Rayne Township.
And at 11:56, an automatic fire alarm was activated along Pine Ridge Road in Burrell Township. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out at the time. Black Lick fire department said the call was at the Hampton Inn, and that crews arrived with no fire showing. The alarm was shown in the first floor laundry room, and no emergency was found. Crews were able to reset the alarm before leaving.
