A Philadelphia man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Indiana Borough last week.
State police say 19-year-old Jose Francisco Gordian III was pulled over at about nine o’clock last Monday night at South 8th Street and Gompers Avenue for having tinted windows on his GMC SUV and for a strong odor of marijuana as the trooper was following the vehicle. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, a small bag containing non-prescribed oxycodone and tramadol was found, along with a small amount of marijuana, a digital scale, and brass knuckles.
Gordian was taken into custody and processed at the state police barracks. He was later released and will face charges of possession of controlled substances and of paraphernalia, and of prohibited offensive weapons.
