CENTER TOWNSHIP
A Blairsville man is facing charges after a traffic stop on Route 119 and Lucerne Road in Center Township yesterday afternoon. State police pulled over 28-year-old Max Kinter for a traffic violation and found that he was under the influence of marijuana. A small amount of marijuana and a pipe were found in the vehicle, and police found that he was driving on a suspended license. Charges are pending.
BRUSH VALLEY TOWNSHIP
A Brush Valley Township teenager discovered yesterday that she is the victim of identity theft. State police say the 17-year-old girl’s debit card information was used to make two purchases through her PayPal account, totaling $815.
INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough police have filed burglary charges against two suspects for a break-in last November in the 700 block of Wayne Avenue. 23-year-old Scott Lute of Dixonville and 35-year-old Chrystal Oswalt of Clymer are charged with burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.
GREEN TOWNSHIP
No one was injured in a crash of Saturday afternoon in Green Township. State police say a pickup driven by 30-year-old Robert Stiles of Strongstown crossed the center line on a curve on Greenwich Road, colliding with the oncoming pickup of 21-year-old Darren Benamati of Northern Cambria. Stiles’ pickup sustained disabling damage.
