ALTOONA BEATS HARRISBURG FOR FIFTH STRAIGHT VICTORY

The Altoona Curve beat the Harrisburg Senators 5-1, giving the Curve their fifth consecutive win.

After two innings of one-run ball from Austin Roberts, Altoona received seven shutout frames from Travis MacGregor and Brad Case in a bullpen game instead of going with Luis Ortiz for the start.

Aaron Shackleford hit a homer in the 2^nd to keep the consecutive game home run streak alive at 12 games.  Matt Frazier scored on a  Brent Citta double and Nick Gonzales an RBI single to make it 4-0 after two innings.  The final run came in the 4^th with Jared Triolo scoring on an throwing error by Harrisburg’s Jackson Cluff.

The two teams play again tonight, with Kyle Nicholas starting for the Curve.
