Indiana County’s new district attorney has announced the first action of the year for the county’s DUI Task Force.
D.A. Bob Manzi says there will be DUI checkpoints, roving patrols, and DUI Mobile Awareness campaigns this month at various locations, targeting traditional winter activities where alcohol is involved.
Manzi warns that people who plan to drink ought to also plan for a sober person to drive them home. He says, “There are other people on the roads who want to get where they are going safely.”
The Indiana County DUI Task Force is funded through a $10,000 grant from PennDOT.
