The State Senate has confirmed a new member and reappointed two current members to the IUP Council of Trustees.
Jennifer Baker of Armstrong County, a 2005 graduate of IUP with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education of Exceptional Persons, will join the trustees to replace Jim Miller, who has served since 2005.
Current Trustees Chair Sam Smith of Punxsutawney and Tim Cejka of Latrobe were reappointed to the council. Smith has been a member since 2001 and is also a member of the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education. Cjeka has served since his appointment in October of 2018 to fill the term of Gealy Wallwork.
The next meeting of the Council of Trustees is March 19th.
