Another restaurant that wants to set up shop in the Oakland Avenue corridor had the final site plan approved at Tuesday night’s White Township Planning Commission Meeting.
The commission approved the plan for Texas Road House to set up shop at 2910 Oakland Avenue. The 8000 square foot facility would have 314 seats for customers, and would be located in the same plaza as Aldi Foods. Township Manager Chris Anderson said in an interview on Indiana in the Morning that restaurants have been looking into that corridor for some time.
Other restaurants that have expressed a significant interest in the area include Panera and Applebee’s. No word yet on when construction on Texas Roadhouse would begin but it Anderson said that they have started putting together drawings for the building permit.
