The Steelers and coach Mike Tomlin kick off the preseason tonight at Tampa Bay. The coach says everybody who’s healthy will get into the game, from veteran stars to untested rookies.
Running back Najee Harris says it won’t be the same as a regular season game, but it will be a valuable experience.
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick says he’s ready to go despite only having been in camp a few days because of a personal matter. He says it will be basic football tonight, nothing fancy.
After the game tonight, the Steelers will have tomorrow off and then return to the practice field at St. Vincent on Sunday. There are only four practices remaining for the public to attend in Latrobe. They will be on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 1:55 PM, and next Thursday at 10:30 AM.
You’ll hear tonight’s game on WDAD, FM 100.3 and AM 1450, starting with the pregame at 5 o’clock. Due to NFL streaming restrictions, the game will not be on the WDAD stream.
