The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce hosted Senator Joe Pittman and Representative Jim Struzzi for their annual Eggs and Issues breakfast event.
The annual event gave a chance for people in the audience to ask questions of their legislators and to get updates on what’s going on in Harrisburg. One topic that was covered was mental health. Representative Jim Struzzi, who serves on the Human Services Committe said his concern was a mental health crisis that has gone into all aspects of everyday life, and that funding for mental health needs has been cut recently.
One of the topics Senator Pittman covered was broadband internet services, which he called an essential utility that needs to be available to everyone.
