Since the start of the pandemic last year, almost all public meetings of Indiana County school boards, municipalities, and county agencies have been virtual, with participants and the public attending remotely. Those restrictions are beginning to ease, with the Indiana Area School Board the latest to announce a change to in-person attendance at its meetings.
The new “hybrid” meeting policy will also allow for continued attendance virtually. And the meetings have been moved to the more spacious Indiana Junior High School. The change takes effect with Monday night’s school board meeting.
The district has posted a video on its website, www.iasd.cc, to explain parking and attendance procedures.
