WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED
Emergency crews are on the scene of some utility lines down in Burrell Township.
Indiana County 911 reported that the lines were reported down in the area of Willow Street at 5:28 this morning. Black Lick and Blairsville fire departments were called out at that time. Penelec officials confirm that 763 of its customers in the area are without power at this time. The bulk of the outages are in Burrell Township, with 15 others reported in Black Lick Township and nine in Blairsville Borough.
While Penelec has not officially listed the cause of the outage, they expect power to be restored by 8:30, but that could change based on the damage reported.
